BURUNDI: Identification, soil analysis and land certification for fruits and vegetables investors

Project description

The mission was carried out for the benefit of investors in needs of identifying land plots for fruits and vegetables production. The special objective of the mission was to analyze soils of the potential sites for the development of the horticultural investments and “to certify” their adaptability to the envisaged productions.

Services provided

An agro-soil expert specialised in the study and analysis of soils was mobilised for this mission whose work resulted in i) Analysis of the land of each investor and the evaluation of the edaphic and pedological criteria; ii) Physico-chemical analyses of selected sites; iii) Interpretation of the results and communication to investors; iv) Adaptation of horticultural speculations to the best possible conditions.
