CHINA: Twinning project for cooperation in Rural Development

Project description

The mission included:

• Investigating all technical fields of cooperation,
• Developing mutual understanding on preparing joint proposals to rural development programs,
• Preparing study tours for Chinese technical staff in France.

It also comprised the training in France, for a period of 6 months, of a senior expert of the academy of Jiangxi in order to:

• Support the academy of Jiangxi to prepare his technical references,
• To develop its knowledge and capacity to jointly prepare international tenders for international development project with CA 17 International,
• To appraise the agricultural development in France and adapt its methodologies according to EU standards

Project goals

The concept of the project was to develop a sound and steady partnership between an Agricultural Chinese Institution and CA 17 International.
The project comprised the staffing of a university graduate from CA 17 International company, in China, in the province of Jiangxi, in order to identify opportunities for technical cooperation between the company and an agricultural institution, the Jiangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

Services provided

The outputs:

• Technical brochure established,
• Technical references established for the Jiangxi Academy for technical projects with the assistance of CA 17 International,
• Preparation of joint letters of interest for international development projects,
• Development of technical cooperation in the following technical fields: Medical utilisation of asparagus with a laboratory in La Rochelle, Study of Biogas development market in France, Market study for asparagus products
