MALI: Assistance to the implementation of a monitoring evaluation system and of accounting and training of human resources of the OPIB

Project description

The service provided by the Technical Assistance consisted in the implementation of:

• A database including the logical framework of the Project, activity details, achievements, etc.;
• A monitoring system allowing to monitor and visualise history of various Project interventions and socio-economical characteristics of the Baguineda municipality and project beneficiaries;
• An information system on markets and prices;
• A monitoring dashboard of Project indicators;
• An accounting system with all appropriate tools;
• A financial and administrative procedures’ manual;
• An appropriate cost accounting for the BIPO Project.

Project goals

The Project of Intensification of the Irrigated Perimeter of Baguinéda aimed to improve productivity of National Office of Baguinéda in order to contribute to food safety and to improvement the living frame of populations.

Services provided

The guiding approach for the achievement of the mission was as follows:

• Organisation of the mission: diagnostis of the organisational framework and of human resources;
• Drafting of the procedures’ manual and of the monitoring and evaluation framework;
• Implementation of information, monitoring & evaluation, and accounting systems, and associated tools;
• Staff-training.
