Project description

CA 17 International’s mission to carry out the training of stakeholders from the seed commodity chain was part of the PAFISEM project, which aimed to enhance plant breeding achievements by promoting selected seeds and broadening the range of seeds produced on market garden crops, wheat and fruit tree plants.

Project goals

The objective of the mission entrusted to CA 17 International was to carry out the training of the 681 participants selected by the PAFISEM among three categories of distinct and complementary actors of the seed industry in Mali:

  • Advising and accompanying agents from agricultural institutions;
  • Seed multiplier producers;
  • Research, control and certification officers.

Services provided

  • Project management and management at headquarters;
  • On-site logistics’ organisation for training;
  • Completion of training modules in collaboration with the team;
  • Team coordination.
