NIGER: Additional support to the Sector Reform Contract « Food and nutrition safety and sustainable rural development » (CRS-SANAD)

Project description

Objective: To support the Government’s efforts to eradicate poverty, promote sustainable and inclusive growth and consolidate and improve democratic and economic governance and in particular to achieve the following 3 results: 1) Governance at the sector level is strengthened; 2) Public service delivery is improved; 3) Geographical and gender disparities are reduced.

Services provided

The support of the AT-CSR-SANAD is to provide the High Commission with the 3N Initiative, as well as the co-leaders (Ministries of Agriculture and Livestock, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Environment, ARMP): i) methodological and technical support; ii) monitoring and reporting management support; and iii) project management capacity building support. This is supported by 4 main experts on site (2790 M-D) and a short-term pool of experts (4910 M-D).
