Project description

CA 17 International was responsible for plant protection, as well as seed and plant certification, i.e. “effective seed and plant certification on a cost-recovery basis”.
The objective of this mission was to upgrade the technical services for seed and plant certification in order to obtain international accreditation (in particular with regard to OECD standards) guaranteeing the quality of Tunisian products on national and especially international markets.

Project goals

The objective of the project was to improve the quality and competitiveness of agricultural production and market access, in particular for small and medium-sized producers.

Services provided

CA 17 International’s mission was to:

  • Establish, prepare and coordinate the technical team in the execution of field missions;
  • Monitor the mission;
  • Organise and set up 9 training courses of a week each, in France, intended to executives of the Ministry, meeting the needs diagnosed by the expertise.
